Circa 1915 Willie Watt
Spoon

This heavy socket-head spoon was made by William Watt, who was a clubmaker and professional with a small shop in Edinburgh.

While it’s labeled a “spoon” on the head, the loft of this particular example is much closer to that of a driver or brassie at 10 degrees. It’s also quite heavy, weighing in at D8 on the swing weight scale, but that extra weight may help a new hickory golfer maintain the nice and easy swing ideal for hickory golf.

  • 10 degrees of loft, D8 swingweight, 43 inches long

  • New suede grip, new whipping - ready for hickory play

  • Excellent condition

  • SOLD
