Wulff “1815 Series”
Putter #1

This long-nose putter is from the first, four-club batch of featherie clubs I made in March 2024 of castelo boxwood. I’m really enjoying playing with the short spoon and baffing spoon from that set, but I’m not using the putter that much, preferring the very first Wulff putter I made instead. Rather than relegate it to a display rack, I thought I’d make it available for sale for someone else to enjoy.

As mentioned in the video above, this is from my 1815 Series, which features original designs inspired by the characteristics of featherie clubs and makers from the early 19th century. I’m really pleased with the size and look of this putter, but the density of castelo boxwood combined with the deep weight pocket I carved for the lead resulted in an overall weight heavier than I expected. In other words, this putter is off the scale as far as swingweight is concerned. So if you prefer a heavier putter and are looking for something to use for both featherie and gutty golf, this just may be the putter for you. As for additional specs, it’s 37” long and has about 11 degrees of loft.

  • 11 degrees of loft

  • G+ swing weight

  • 37 inches long
