Circa 1920s Scottish
Starter Set #2
The Scots invented the game of golf as we know it and arguably, also made the highest quality clubs for the game as it was played with hickory shafts prior to 1935.
These five clubs were made in the 1920s by a variety of prominent Scottish makers including Robert Forgan of St. Andrews and Hendry & Bishop of Edinburgh, and have been fully refurbished for hickory golf play. All of the irons have been hand-selected for their optimal swing weight and characteristics for play and make a perfect minimal set of irons for someone interested in playing hickory golf with authentic clubs.
Included in this set:
Robert Forgan Maxwell-Style Flanged Midiron: 24 degrees of loft, C4 swing weight, 38” playing length)
Wm. Gibson Deep Face Mashie: 31*, D0, 38-1/2”
